Cheers to Garry and Shereene's first birthday planning! :) We celebrated Keahi's first birthday on Monday, February 18, 2013. It was a very simple party with friends and people that are really close to Keahi. We decided a rainbow birthday party because it symbolizes Keahi's colorful first year of life.
| Keahi's M&M rainbow cake. I baked a carrot cake for him since that's his favorite veggie. |
| Rainbow Jello for some fun food |
| Rainbow fruit platter which includes watermelon, oranges, pineapples, sweetened peas and blueberries. |
| I also prepared some rainbow goodies for the kids. Here are some rainbow twizzlers and marshmallows. |
| Another set of goodies with rainbow gummy bears. |
| This is probably my favorite dessert in his birthday. A rainbow cupcake made by Kaye and Newel. It is a banana cake because that is Keahi's favorite fruit :) |
| This is my first time baking a bread. I didn't know kneading is a lot of work! Anyway, this is just a really basic bread and I divided it into 6, colored them, put them back together in layers, et voila a rainbow bread. |
| Keahi's rainbow ice cream |
| Garry also prepared other dishes such as spaghetti and meatballs, fried rice and chevret legumes. |
| Finally, a happy birthday boy :) |
Keahi started walking the night of his birthday too :)
Thanks to those who celebrated Keahi's special day with us. Happy Birthday once again son, I love you! :)
