kind of like a funnel cake

Since I saw that corn dog from robinson's galleria last week I have been craving for funnel cakes. I woke up this morning still thinking about it until I found myself looking for recipes online. I know that my kitchen is not fully equipped to be able to come up with a funnel cake, but I was desperate. I looked for a funnel cake recipe that is very basic and would not require any baking powder/soda, because I didn't have any of those in my kitchen. (Here's what I found. http://www.yummly.com/recipe/external/Funnel-Cake-Food-Network).

I am not a kitchen person. I am not good in cooking or baking. But again, I was desperate :)

The recipe required to, "With mixer at lowest speed, add eggs, 1 at a time, making sure the first egg is completely incorporated before continuing. "  I do not have any mixer. I had to use a whisk! Boy, I didn't know the dough would be very hard to deal with. I almost broke the whisk and my hands. Anyway, here's the batter.

So after the batter, I was so excited to fry it because that means I'm almost done. I was too excited that I forgot I do not have a piping bag either! I used a 'plastik ng yelo' instead. Its the closest thing to a piping bag I can think of.

Finally, it is now ready to be deep fried!

add some nutella, strawberry jam, whipped cream, choco syrup, et voila!
and yes I didn't have any powdered sugar too! haha

My craving was satisfied! It may not be the best funnel cake (in fact, it's the worst I've ever tasted), at least it tasted like one. :)
