Home is where the heart is

Leaving Hawaii was not easy. Who would not miss the beautiful beaches and majestic mountains?and the shave ice, and lau lau, and the kalua pork, and costco, and many many more. But leaving Hawaii to go back to the Philippines (after 3 loooong years) is not too bad. I missed HOME. We've been home for a month and 2 weeks now. It is never easy to start a new life in a whole new different place, but it gets better.

The first 2 weeks was a bit hard, we spent a lot of time looking for a place to stay. But thanks to our good friends, Jesse and Kat, they referred us to their place.
Here's our door and our hallway

Here's our building

and our pool.

we also have a clear view of ortigas (i think), where i also work.

Speaking of work, I am happy I was able to work right away. It is a whole new different environment, compared to PCC, but it is fun.

and the team with Kate Wilcox from Sears Holdings Corp.

I also got to celebrate an awesome birthday blast. After 3 years, I finally had my birthday with my family and with the Filipino foods that I have longed to eat since I moved in Hawaii.

And if you'd like to know how's the little rascal doing. This photo answers that.

More pictures :)

trying to drive like daddy. in the Philippines (or maybe just in tarlac haha), no car seats are required thats why Keahi is having so much fun.
